The evidence that highly trained practitioners make the most difference to outcomes for young children in early years settings is irrefutable.

Our Early Years specialist teacher, who is also an associate University lecturer in Early Years Practice, leads a team of friendly, dedicated and experienced childcare professionals who are all committed to developing every child’s individual potential.

Our Early Years specialist teacher fosters a culture of mutual support, teamwork and continuous improvement.  We encourage & support the team to continue their professional development and keep up to date with current research and best practice within the Early Years.

The level of qualification at our setting exceeds the Government qualification requirements for early years practitioners.

In addition our staff:

  • Undergo thorough enhanced DBS checks
  • Attend Safeguarding Children training
  • Hold Current Paediatric First Aid Certificates

We ensure that all practitioners and volunteers receive induction training to help them understand their roles and responsibilities.  Induction training includes information about emergency evacuation procedures, safeguarding, child protection, our equality policy, and health and safety issues.

All our staff members are parents themselves of school age children up to young adults.
